The Future of 291 Harrow Road

Welcome to the 291 Harrow Road website!

Westminster Council has been granted planning consent to deliver 144 new high-quality homes with 50% of them being affordable. The scheme will also include specialist housing for adults with learning disabilities, supporting independent living.

Alongside new homes, the development will provide:

• 2,000 sq ft of commercial space to support local businesses and bring new energy to Harrow Road

• Apprenticeships and job opportunities for local people (subject to planning approval)

• A new indoor play area accessible to the whole community

The scheme will comprise of:

• 72 affordable homes, including
  • • 24 specialist homes for adults with complex needs:  
    • 18 homes for London Living Rent
• 72 homes for private sale
• A new public all-weather play space on Harrow Rd
• Improved landscaping and new green routes to create safer and more welcoming pedestrian routes
• Flexible commercial space to support local enterprise and provide useful amenities for the community
• Over £3.5m in S106 and CIL payments to invest in the local community and wider area
